pseudo-libra

Wow, Kirihara, Libra? That sign is sort of redundant among Tenipuri characters, seriously. And I, too, feel quite repetitive, since people like Risa Niigaki and Sailor Venus/Minako Aino share that same sign. Nonetheless, this is just a random part of the fansite that I felt like addressing because in my opinion, he is most definitely not the image of a Libra. Instead of clipping the description of a Libra from a website, I decided, since he's not so much a Libra, I can describe the Libra in my own words for a brief overview of what it is.

Libra is the diplomatic sign of the zodiac. It's an air sign with positive energy. A Libra isn't one to look for a fight, but such individuals like to sit in the middle of both opposing points. They like talking out fights instead of engaging in them, and they're also not that violent. Scales represent balance, however.. Kirihara isn't quite balanced at all. Libra, like I said, is not one to take on violence, but Kirihara lets his anger get the best of him, most of the time, and he looses it. His cheerful side could possibly show a couple Libra traits, such as polishing his image and easy going. Other than that, no. He's not much of a Libra. I'd say he was more fit to be Aries, the one sign that looses temper and everything seems to explode. :P

Not to say that all anime should follow what zodiac they're stuck under, but why insert a birthday when the character is nothing like that? Well, the creator probably didn't even care, but it would've been a nice thing if Kirihara was either Aries or Gemini, because he's not diplomatic, and could care less about making enemies. At least, that's how I interpret it.
